How does THOMAS Sky XT work during the wet cleaning? Water is sprayed onto the surface at high pressure through a special nozzle and then the vacuum cleaner sucks up the water together with the dirt dissolved in it. For wet cleaning, the clean water is poured into the 1.7 litre water tank, which is located externally at the back of the vacuum cleaner. When the vacuum cleaner is in wash mode, the AquaBox is transformed into a container for suction dirty water with a capacity of more than 2.5 litres. When the container is full, the motor stops automatically to prevent itself from flooding and breakage.

For wet carpet cleaning a wide nozzle with a pointed edge is provided. It lifts the carpet pile and allows you to rinse it thoroughly. You won't recognise your carpet after a quality cleaning with Sky XT! The pile will be straightened, stains and dirt will disappear and even the colour will change - the carpet will look almost new!

THOMAS Sky XT is equipped with an adapter for cleaning hard floors. It is attached to the wide cleaning nozzle. The adapter is a soft brush with an elastic band. The brush cleans linoleum or tiles delicately and gently, and the elastic band collects any residual moisture. Please note: after wet cleaning with Sky XT the floor remains almost dry! This means that you can safely use this vacuum cleaner without worrying about excess moisture damaging your floor.

Sky XT is completely unpretentious: it can be filled with tap water for dry and wet cleaning! If you want to make wet cleaning even more effective, simply add THOMAS ProTex cleaning concentrate to the water. It is also included with the vacuum cleaner. This concentrate is hypoallergenic, odourless and suitable for carpets, upholstery and hard floors.

In addition to the wash mode accessories listed above, Sky XT also has a set of nozzles for dry cleaning. There is a carpet nozzle with a retractable pile for effective pet hair removal and a crevice nozzle for hard-to-reach areas and crevices.
